The world’s largest all-Ferrari event doesn’t take place in Italy, but in Florida. The Palm Beach Cavallino Classic Concorso d’Eleganza holds this distinction and hosts Ferraris from all eras of the company’s long history.
It takes place in Palm Beach from January 26th to 29th, you don’t need to own one Ferrari to enjoy the action, and this year’s event is something special. The Italian brand pays homage to the 24 Hours of Le Mans, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year
Among the many Ferraris gracing the Concours lawn on Saturday 28 January will be cars that have raced at Le Mans over the years. Ferrari’s first appearance in endurance racing was in 1949; It marked the beginning of a legacy that resulted in dozens of class wins and nine overall wins. As such, this year’s Cavallino Classic Concorso d’Eleganza at The Breakers Hotel is a rare opportunity to see some of these special cars together in one location, vying for the attention of judges and spectators alike in a dedicated Le Mans category. “Ferrari has been a key protagonist at Le Mans for decades and we felt the need to celebrate this incredible milestone with a magnificent lineup of Ferraris that have made the history of the world’s most iconic race,” said Luigi Orlandini, Chairman and CEO of Cavallino and Canossa. “In 2022 we celebrated Ferrari’s 75th anniversary with a special lineup of cars representing each year’s history of the brand, now we want to pay tribute to another motorsport icon: the 24 Hours of Le Mans.”
Upon completion of the Concours, participants will have the opportunity to experience an authentic Italian dinner and charity auction after the awards ceremony.
Saturday’s Concorso d’Eleganza is certainly a favorite for everyone, but the four-day event actually kicks off on Thursday with a track day at The Concours Club. Friday is reserved for driving along Florida’s coastal roads in the Tour d’Eleganza. Sunday is a relaxed day in Mar-a-Lago with nicer cars this time open to other makes and models to be viewed during a special brunch.
