2024 Porsche Cayenne Coupe Almost Revealed in New Spy Photos

The current-gen Porsche Cayenne Coupe is due for a facelift, and honestly we expected it to be unveiled now. Prototypes in various states of camouflage have been sighted on a semi-regular basis for almost a year, and now we see a Cayenne coupe with virtually no camouflage. Even the Porsche crest is clearly visible.

That’s not to say the updated model is fully exposed. Through the lens of our spy camera, we see slim stickers outlining newly designed headlights. On the back some black tapes and mesh wrap cover details on the taillights. And as far as we can tell, it is. Of course, testing in the frozen Arctic provides natural camouflage in the form of snow layered onto body panels. In any case, we know the refresh will be minor, focusing on larger, squarer vents in the bezel with the aforementioned lighting improvements.

Our spy sources believe this is a hybrid model. Based on the center exhaust at the rear, this could be one Turbo S E-Hybrid Coupe. However, the upgraded exhaust and rear cowl are optional on this trim level Porsche might open it up to other disguises with this update. We haven’t heard anything significant regarding powertrain changes, although revisions could see slight increases in performance and efficiency, particularly on hybrid models. Considering the current Turbo S E-Hybrid already has 670 horsepower (500 kilowatts) to work with, adding more would ensure it remains one of the fastest SUVs available today.

This refresher won’t just be an outside snap. We caught one last summer Cayenne Coupé up close, revealing its revised interior. The center console and infotainment screen will see changes, and the large shifter used in today’s Cayennes will give way to something much smaller, similar to the controls used in the Cayenne 911.

Considering how long we’ve seen test vehicles in public and how little camouflage is left on this particular Porsche, a reveal must be just around the corner. The worst-case scenario could be early summer, but a debut could fall anytime on the expected 2024 Cayenne Coupe.
