Both Alex and Marc took to social media following their activities at the track, with the former saying: “One more training session. I’m looking forward to pre-season testing in Malaysia.”
After three seasons with Honda in MotoGP, Alex Marquez moved to Gresini to replace the new Lenovo Ducati factory rider Enea Bastianini.

Whilst his form aboard a battered RC213V has been far from Marquez’s expectations, the former Moto2 Champion now has a major opportunity to reignite his premier-class career.
Currently on a year-long proof-it deal Fabio di GiannantonioMarquez will contest the 2023 campaign on the same Desmosedici GP-22 Francesco Bagnaja took the title with him
Although Alex has left the Honda setup, Marc remains the Japanese manufacturer’s key man ahead of the pivotal season.
With just three victories in three years – all of those victories thanks to Marquez – Honda is in a position where success has been very limited.
Injuries to their star rider were a big reason, but so was the poor performance of their Honda machines
But with Marquez looking very fine during his training sessions and appearing to be back to full fitness, the eight-time world champion could be a contender in 2023, even if Honda doesn’t provide him with a bike on par with Ducati and Yamaha.
