Despite his bulging bank balance Murray is still clinging to his very first car – his beloved Volkswagen Polo.

He rolled about in the enviable jaguar XKR before owning the £66,000 Jaguar I-Pace which was arguably a standout item in his collection.
He was one of the first owners of the British automaker’s all-electric performance SUVs.
Murray said of the engine: “Yes. I love him. It’s beautiful, comfortable and fast.
“And of course I need a decent boot for my gear. He’s perfect for me.”
However, he did admit that he had to constantly plug the Jaguar into the mains to keep it running with some juice.
He explained: “Obviously it takes a little longer than filling up at a gas station, but I didn’t plan it in advance.
“Now I charge the car almost every night when I’m at home.”
The tennis legend was also spotted driving her family around in one Porsche Cayenne SUV.
Whatever engine you see Murray riding, he’s made a clear choice between accommodating his thugs or youngsters.


But despite his enviable car collection, the car closest to his heart is the VW Polo.
He reportedly allows his buddies to whiz around in the budget engine to make sure it doesn’t rot.
