Bentley design chief switches to VW

Andreas Mindt, currently Director of Bentley Design, will lead VW’s brand design from February 1, 2023. He replaces Jozef Kaban, who has been appointed Creative Art Director VW, and will report directly to the Head of Technical Development.

As part of his new function at the Group Future Center Europe in Potsdam, Kaban will “develop future-oriented mobility solutions for the Volkswagen brand”.

Mindt started with the group in 1996 after graduating from the Pforzheim University of Design.

From 2021 he led Bentley Design.

Kaban started at Volkswagen Design in 1993, where he was in charge of Audi’s exterior design and Skoda’s design.

In 2020 he returned to the VW brand as chief designer.
