Dotcom, who legally changed his last name in 2005, founded several internet companies and lived around the world.
However, in 2012, at the request of the US authorities, Dotcom’s house was searched and this pink Caddy was taken along with various other cars.

Since then it has been in storage and was recently sold to a dealer who is discontinuing it auction with Trade Me.
The ad reads: “This car was one of two Cadillacs bought in New Zealand by internet mogul Kim Dotcom circa 2010.
“This car was then held by the government for a decade and ended up in my possession a few days ago.
“The car is delivered without any mechanical problems.
“Small oil leaks are to be expected in every classic car of this era and also after a conversion.
‘I will include a drip tray for the buyer :)’
The auction is still running for nine days and the bid is already around £60,000.
