The Hotel Eden in Rome appeals to our spirit of adventure by offering a mountain drive through the mountains of the surrounding Lazio region at the wheel of a Porsche.
The tour’s destination, Monte Terminillo, is just an hour from Rome and offers a scenic backdrop for hiking, skiing and now mountain driving thanks to this romantic getaway from the Hotel Eden, one of the two hotels in the Dorchester Collection in Italy.

The driving experience, a total of eight hours of driving, includes a Porsche 718 Boxster, a GPS-guided tour to the highest peak in Lazio, a hiking guide through the countryside and lunch for two. The 718 Boxster is the fourth and most recent iteration of the classic two-seat open-top sports car, which has been revised several times and was first conceived in 1992 and launched in 1996.

The experience is made possible by The Drivers Club, an Italian company that creates luxury driving experiences across the country, incorporating art, nature, culture and food in different ways. The offer ranges from short trips along the Amalfi Coast to hiking holidays through the most romantic mountain regions in Italy.
At the Hotel Eden itself, guests’ itineraries are awash with spa treatments and expansive views of the urban Roman landscape from the convenient central location. The historic property, which first received guests in the late 1880s, features interiors that were redesigned in 2017 by studios Moinard Bétaille and Jouin Manku, whose makeover combines art, existing architecture and modern luxury.
