Jaguar’s classic sports cars go out with a bang. Eight of them to be exact.
The British automaker has unveiled the last V8-powered sports car it will ever build before it hits the road 2025 fully electric.
The 2024 F-Type 75 also marks the 10th anniversary of the model and the 75th anniversary of Jaguar’s first proper production sports car, the 1949 XK120.
The curvaceous roadster was the fastest production car in the world at the time, with a top speed of 200 km/h.

The F-Type 75 is offered in both standard and increased-performance R versions, available as either a coupe or convertible, both with all-wheel drive.
The F-Type 75 is fitted with a 450hp 5.0-liter supercharged V8 and can accelerate to 60mph in 4.4 seconds and reach 177mph, while the F-Type R75 is a 575hp version of the same Motors that is good for a 3.5-second sprint to 60 mph and a top speed of 186 mph.

The cars also get “75” badging on the fenders and cabin, special wheels and interior trim, and a Giola Green metallic paint option unique to the model.

Jaguar joins Dodge in eliminating V8 engines from his lineup. The American muscle car brand will stop building the current Challenger and Charger models at the end of 2024 and will replace them with the all-electric Charger Datona SRT.
But while that marks the swan song for Jaguar’s eight-cylinder sports car, the engine may last for a few more years.
