For those unfamiliar with TikTok slang, Cheugy is defined as “A person who is currently following outdated trends that usually stem from things that are popular in middle school and high school,” according to the Instagram page Cheuglife. This is mostly true for millennials who are still living out their 2010s fantasy, which includes wearing items like skinny jeans or *gasp* with side panel.
Though the fur-lined UGG boots that dominated the mid-2000s were once considered a sassy staple, they have become a fashion staple in 2023 (Gigi Hadid wears them all the time). And Jenner just signed up. While Jenner’s signature off-duty looks ranged from relaxed motocross to chill sportas a Gen Z/Millennial top (she was born in 1995), it’s no surprise that the model signed up for this retro shoe style.
On a rainy Saturday in Los Angeles, Jenner wore a cozy pair of classic black leggings that she paired with an egg blue hoodie. Her white socks peeked out from her low top Classic ultra minis, in the classic maroon colourway, no less. Her accessories were also understated, completing the casual ensemble with a black leather shoulder bag and rounded rectangular sunglasses.
While Jenner’s exact UGGs are nearly sold out in her chosen shade, they are are still available in a soft lavender shade and in navy blue. The minis are there too ultra bright colors including a highlighter yellow and barbie pink – if you know where to look.
