Two NASCAR Cup Champions are reportedly looking to do business together.
Per Bob Pockrass from FOX Sports, Todd Gordon will be crew chief Jimmie Johnson at his Cup Series races for Legacy Motor Club.
The NASCAR world reacted to Monday’s exciting news.
“The entire GMS team just got better,” said one fan.
“Legacy Motor Club is starting to look stacked!” answered another.
“Damn good rent from Legacy Motor Club. Todd Gordon is the man,” tweeted one user.
“Legacy Motor Club also announces that crew chief Dave Elenz has signed a contract extension through 2025,” added Pockrass.
“That is amazing.”
“THIS IS SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!”
“Bob, that’s such a touching move of Jimmie’s. Years after Jeff Gordon gave Jimmie his big break, Jimmie retaliates by hiring Jeff’s brother, Todd, to turn the wrenches on the ’84 car. Hollywood couldn’t make a better story if they tried,” replied another.
A great addition to Jimmie Johnson and his crew.
