Renault Group has appointed Francois Provost as Group Chief Purchasing Officer and Managing Director of the Alliance Purchasing Organization (APO), effective February 1, 2023. He will report to Luca de Meo, CEO Renault Group.
Provost retains current responsibility for group partnerships and public affairs.
“In today’s rapidly changing automotive industry, new technologies and the need to forge new relationships with our supplier ecosystem are fundamentally transforming procurement to increase value, reduce our impact and expand our coverage of our new value chain. Provost has extensive and global experience across the automotive sector. His proven track record of developing successful and innovative partnerships will be a great asset as we tackle our next challenges,” said de Meo.
Provost succeeds Gianluca De Ficchy, who becomes CEO of Mobilize.

De Ficchy will be responsible for the Mobilize Financial Services and Mobilize Beyond Automotive brands to strengthen the collaboration between the two companies and confirm Renault Group’s development in the field of new mobility, supported by financing services for the automotive industry. He will rely on Joao Miguel Leandro, CEO of Mobilize Financial Services, and Fedra Ribeiro, CEO of Mobilize Beyond Automotive.
